Staff Biographies

Deb Brunner

Born in St. Augustine and raised in Palatka, Deb brings 17 years experience in the Title Insurance industry. After graduating from high school in 1972, Deb attended St. Augustine Vo-Tech and graduated in 1973 from the School of Cosmetology she is still a licensed Cosmetologist. Deb also attended Jacksonville University where she earned her Paralegal certificate. In changing careers, Deb went into the title insurance business with a title company in Palatka.

Wanting to be her own boss she took a leap of faith and started Olde Towne Title. Her success comes from her own passion in helping others achieve their dreams of home ownership but also finding an incredible support team.

When she married her husband Lee, who has been employed with Florida Power & Light for 34 years, she moved to St. Johns County and stayed in the title industry. Deb feels her professional training has taught her to deal with the public in the most effective way. Deb has been active and involved in the St. Augustine & St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Council of Realtors, and St. Augustine & St. Johns County Board of Realtors and is on the Board of Directors of the Betty Griffin House. Besides being President of Olde Towne Title & Escrow, she is a Mom to 3 boys, Scott, (29 years old), Chad (18 years old) and Justin (8 years old), and Grandmother to Landon (6 months).

Karin Cook

Born in Linton, Indiana, Karin Cook moved to St. Augustine with her family when she was just 5 years old. She started first grade at R. B. Hunt and still goes to St. Johns County schools to this day. Majoring in Business Marketing, Karin currently attends St. Johns River Community College and is working toward an Associate in Arts Degree.

Karin brings 5 years experience in the Title Insurance industry. She started her career with Deb at another local title company as a receptionist/post closer. Karin quickly learned all areas of the title insurance business and often serves as a closer at Olde Towne Title & Escrow. She says she’s caught the title bug and plans to make it her home.

Robert McGee

Born Hartford Ct 1964
And moved to Ft. Lauderdale FL. 1972 where he graduated from Cooper City High School 1983, He then attended Broward Community College as well as Nova University.

Rob has been in Sales and Marketing for 21 years having spent his first years out of college working in the boating industry prior to moving to St. Augustine in 1994 and beginning his career in real estate. His career took a jump start with The Real Estate Book. In advertising sales Rob was able to build a strong clientele through networking, building relationships and friendships to make that ultimate move and begin a career in the Title insurance business. He spent his first three years in the industry working for Associated Land Title (First American Title Insurance) were he worked for his Current Manager (Deb Brunner) who stole his talents away to become the Business Development Consultant Of Olde Towne Title and Escrow Services.

Rob is an avid basketball player and golfer as well as a basketball coach to several youth programs.
Rob has two wonderful children Megan 16 and brother Travis 13 both basketball players to a very proud father.

Jessica LaCaze

Jessica was born in St. Augustine and grew up in Hastings. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy here in St. Augustine in 1994. After getting married in 1997 she moved to South Florida for a few years but moved back to St. Augustine to be close to family. She worked in the loan department at a local bank before Deb hired her almost four years ago. She enjoys working with the local Real Estate agents and mortgage companies and loves her job at Olde Towne Title.

Jessica’s husband, James, is also from St. Augustine having moved here from Louisiana at the age of five. She has a sixteen year old step-son, Nicholas, and a three year old son, Jarrett. She spends most of her free time with her family and likes to travel and explore new places. She looks forward to many more rewarding and exciting years at Olde Towne Title.

Leigh Anne Burrell

Leigh Anne is a native of St. Augustine, Florida and attended local schools. She was an honor graduate of St. Augustine High School in 2000. That fall she began her secondary education at the University of North Florida and received a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Advertising in the spring of 2004. Prior to her college graduation she fulfilled her internship at Clear Channel Television with CBS47/FOX30’s TV Promotions/Marketing Department. Shortly after graduation, she began her employment in the title business and has been employed at Olde Towne Title & Escrow since its opening.

In her spare time Leigh Anne enjoys shopping, traveling, going to the beach, Pilates and playing tennis.
